RULES & REGULATIONS

Here is a list of the Free Company (FC) Rules and Regulations. Please do not violate these rules. Consequences can range from minor, to being removed from the FC and permanently blacklisted. For the most part, our FC has very laid back members and officers. We rarely have issues with members in the FC. We have few rules, but these help us function and remain peaceful.

Please check this page frequently as we update it with any changes.

 

1) No Drama Allowed.

  • If you have a problem with another member, please send them a message and resolve the issue privately. If the issue is still not resolved, you may ask an Officer for help. DO NOT START DRAMA IN FC CHAT. Remember, you can always blacklist the person you are having problems with, OR take it to private messages. Depending on the offense, this could be grounds for termination from the FC.

  • This includes NO talk about Politics and/or Religion.

2) Be Respectful To Other Members.

  • Be respectful to all members of the community regardless of gender, ethnicity, orientation, or religion.

  • This means a zero-tolerance policy for racial slurs and derogatory comments towards gender identification in our in-game FC Chat and our Discord text channels. This rule includes memes and day to day talks. Absolutely no harassment, witch hunting, sexism, racism, or hate speech will be tolerated.

  • Members found in violation of these rules may be kicked or banned from the FC and Discord Server.

  • Spoilers etiquette is as follows:

    • ALL story related spoilers from A Realm Reborn up to the current expansion pack need to be avoided in chat. This is story relevant content that would give away key elements of the story or key elements of characters progression through the story.

    • Helping to find locations and unlocking content is not spoilers because you are not spoiling the Main Story Quest.

    • Things that do not count as spoilers are: names of people, names of places, names of Dungeons/Raid/Trials, and memes.

3) No Self Promotion.

  • We do not allow self promotion or advertisement of Twitch streams, GoFundMe, YouTube streams, Patreon, alternate websites, alternate discord servers, etc. in our FC Chat and Discord Stream. This includes in-game Linkshells, Cross-World Linkshells, FC communities and so forth.

  • You may be given approval to promote an outside resource if we decide that it will be beneficial to our community. We ask you to ask the officers first.

4) Listen To Your Officers.

  • If you are having issues with someone or something, bring it to them. They are there for the FC to make sure things don’t go out of hand. This also means, when told to stop, make sure you stop what you are doing.

5) Do Not Steal From The FC Chest.

  • Tab 1 of every FC chest contains amenities for members to use. Members are limited to one daily stack of Gyshal Greens, Krakka Roots, Curiel Roots, Dyes, Glamour Prisms, Glamour Dispellers, Cordials/Draughts/Potions, and HQ food. If you exceed this daily amount, you may be placed on the Naughty List (or FC appropriate punishment rank). Officers will try to reach out to you initially, but if no response is received you will be kept on this rank indefinitely and potentially removed from the FC.

  • Do not take items from the FC chest with intent to sell them on the market board. If you are caught taking donations or other amenities only to sell them on the market board, this will result in permanent removal of rights to the FC chest, giveaways, and potential removal from the FC entirely.

  • The FC Chest is not your trashcan. While donations are appreciated, please do not drop your miscellaneous junk into the chest.

  • Please be careful to ensure that you do not place your gil into the chest that you do not intend to donate. Any gil accidentally deposited into the chest will not be reimbursed.

6) Three Strike Rule.

  • Upon receiving your first and second strike, you may be placed into the FC appropriate punishment rank for a certain amount of time. Your third strike will result in banishment from the FC and discord.

  • Officers will clearly indicate to a member when they are receiving a strike, and if it was their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd strike.

  • Strikes will decay after 6 months if they were minor offenses. More grievous issues may be counted as multiple strikes, or never be struck from the record.

  • Members who cause problems in the FC or leave of their own choice 3 times will not be allowed to rejoin any FC in our alliance after the 3rd time.

  • This does not apply to people who are removed for inactivity or go on leave and are removed due to inactivity.

7) Filing A Formal Complaint.

  • Depending on the situation, officers will not be able to provide assistance without proof. Proof can include screenshots and text logs.

  • If an incident occurs in-game or on discord we would appreciate a photo so that we can address said issue. Please provide the entire conversation so we have context instead of the one or two sentences that are bothersome.

  • If you have a problem with an officer, please reach out to either an Executive Officer or Nimbus Tupti on discord, or submit a complaint via the website.

8) Promotions.

  • Recruit to member promotions only require that you have been a member of the FC for a minimum of one week.

  • Member to senior member promotions require one of the following: active chat member, active discord member, longtime FC member, max or close to max level character.

  • Member to trial officer can be done by any member in the FC at any point. You can apply to become a trial officer via the website in the officer portal.

  • Ranks beyond officer can be viewed via the officer portal, further details listed there.

9) The Purge.

  • We are a busy alliance of FCs, and thus we choose to clean out inactive members. Inactive members are removed if they have not given notice that they will be away for an extended period of time. These notices can be in game directly to an officer, in discord, or through the website.

  • The inactivity dates may be subject to change depending on our influx of active members. Typically players who have been offline for 14 or more days without giving notice will be purged from the FC.

  • All members who are removed due to inactivity are welcome to return to the FC should they come back to the game.

10) On Leave.

  • This is for members who are taking a break from the game, and have informed the officers via in game messages, discord, or the website.

  • On leave status covers a player for up to 90 days. You will be assigned the on-leave rank in game and in discord during this time.

  • Once a member has exceeded those 90 days, you may be purged from the FC.

  • If a member is purged while on leave before those 90 days are exceeded, and you owned an FC room, we will refund the cost for your FC room. This does not apply if you did not request on leave status through the proper channels.

  • All members who are removed due to inactivity are welcome to return to the FC should they come back to the game.

11) Do Not Ditch Events.

  • Do not leave in the middle of an event. We understand if it is an emergency.

  • If this occurs multiples times, you may be blacklisted from participating in weekly events or all FC events.

  • If you are blacklisted, you will be notified.

12) The Warning System.

  • Repeated offenses will result in a verbal/written warning. We will be clear that you have received your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd warning whether it be a message in game or written in the discord server. Upon receiving a warning, you may be placed temporarily into a punishment rank. The 3rd strike will result in being banned from the FC and discord.

  • Members who cause constant issues, toe the line, or are banned from our community will not be welcome back to the in-game FC or to our discord server.

  • The warning system only pertains to members. If you are a guest in our discord server causing issues, you may be instantly banned from the community.

  • Warnings and strikes fall off after 6 months.

13) Role Play.

  • Non-sexual role play is allowed in our free companies. Most people choose to do this in say chat in the FC yard with other players.

  • Erotic role play or sexual role play is not allowed in our free company. If you choose to ERP do this in a private location or chat, not within or near the grounds of the FC house or in FC channels.

14) Multiple Alt Characters.

  • A member can have their main character, and two alt characters in the FC. This totals in 3 characters per member in the FC.

  • Officers may have certain jobs that may cause them to exceed this limit to assist with the day to day responsibilities in the FC.

  • Members can have their alt characters put on leave in their main branch and other branches of G’. We will try our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee if the branch is super full.

15) G’ Lottery.

  • The G’ Lottery will be held each month, ending on the 25th of the month. Monthly giveaways will have the ending time on the giveaway. Any giveaways are listed in the discord “Contests, Giveaways, Lotto” category. Please refer to discord and raffle webpage for more information.

16) We Reserve The Right To Remove Members At Our Discretion.
